Another Challenging Presentation
Today, I have given a challegning presentation to the top management which I have to get their buy-in regarding a new initiative. Challenging…coz i am not a good salesperson anyway.
Finally….seems a good start but yet to be claimed as a success.
What I learnt from today’s lesson is that you got to have stances as a subject matter expert and speak & do what you believe even the bosses try to challenge you so hard.
Also, you have to understand their perspectives and propose a solution that can ease the constraints and tensions while comforting all the parties involved. Anyway, it’s a art of management.
Well….still a steep learning curve for me to articulate it well.
