Hey Gal, your work is not all of your life.
As I have said before, no matter how hard you are devoting to it, the outcome may not be proportional and as you expected. I’m not saying you should not be responsible for your work, but sometimes efforts should be directed to something worths.
Let’s cheer up~!!!

Why you made that decision finally?
Well… …but i still think it’s a right decision as it’s not wise to reject their leave request. Coz 1) if the individual is responsible and really want to complete the assigned task, then he/she will not submit the leave plan in the beginning where the real case is he/she may really want to have the leave after thorough consideration or 2) the individual may want to avoid the assigned tasks that you may arise that individual’s anger and resentment resulted in that he/she may not dedicate to the work finally or take some destructive actions to your project.
